Hi! Weekend update!
It is now... WARM! I am really looking forward to exercising outside this season. I am going talk to my dr about if there is any way I can pick up jogging without causing bladder pain. If not, I will do some vigorous walking. I had a nice walk today and the magnolias are beautiful!
To help me make sure I am working hard enough on my outside walks, I have acquired: a heart rate moniter!!! I am so excited about it! I have programmed it with all my info to keep myself in the "zone" I should be. It even counts calories for me, which can be motivating.
I am continuing to enjoy my juicer, and I have found two delicious ways to eat the kale/spinach pulp. One is to mash it up with avocado and garlic to make a greener, healthier guacamole. I looooove that! The other is to put it over brown rice pasta along with olive oil, bell pepper, red onion and a bit of parmesean. It looks and tastes like fancy pesto pasta from a restaurant, but it is wheat free, high in fiber and nutrients, and generally better for me.
Those are my updates! It was an exciting day! I think the highest my HR has ever gotten was when I almost peed on the snake...
